Salt Therapy Helps To Treat
Already Using Oxygen Therapy?
Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I know before coming?
No cell phones, conversations, food, or drinks will be permitted in the salt rooms. This ensures that there are no distractions in the room, so everyone can get the most out of the halotherapy appointment. This is a therapy session, so be courteous to those around you!
- Can I wear shoes in the salt rooms?
To keep our salt rooms clean, we require socks or footies to be worn at all times while in the rooms or salt booths. Remember to bring this with you to your salt therapy appointment!
- Can I listen to music during my therapy session?
We recommend you bring a blanket, your favorite tunes device, and some earphones (cellphones may be used for this purpose only).
- Are there any other restrictions?
To ensure nothing affects the treatment of respiratory conditions, no strong or harsh smells are allowed inside the salt rooms. This includes perfume and cigarette smoke.
- How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment with our online calendar! Just go to the scheduling an appointment section.
- Can my child receive halotherapy too?
Yes! Dry salt therapy is natural and safe for all ages. We have special salt rooms just for children. Kids face a higher risk of lung problems because they are still developing and are outside more frequently. Salt therapy can help treat any conditions that arise.
- I heard salt therapy also helps athletes. How does this work?
You heard correctly. Salt therapy clears the airways and decreases inflammation. This increases overall lung capacity and helps with both performance and endurance!
- Is this a safe practice for seniors?
Absolutely! Respiratory difficulties and skin conditions associated with aging are common, and can be improved with salt therapy. As individuals age and bones thin and change shape, lung capacity naturally decreases. Clearing airways with halotherapy improves lung function, and it also helps with common skin issues such as rosacea and dermatitis. It even helps reduce pain from arthritis!
Salt Therapy Has So Many Benefits
Salt therapy reduces inflammation of the airways. This helps to reduce symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. It also reduces skin irritation too!
Salt can be used to treat infections in the airways and on the skin. It will also help clear sinus and ear infections!

The negative ions in dry salt bond with positive ions on the skin and in the body, balancing pH throughout.
Salt therapy can help treat skin conditions including psoriasis and eczema. Its ability to balance skin pH and kill bacteria helps calm dry, itchy skin.
